Our Story
Even though Galway is a small place, it took a global pandemic for the two of us to finally cross paths! What started out as a couple of pints in Killorans after the Thursday night sea swims, turned into a first date — but not without a catch. Ciara agreed to go on a first date but on one condition: Mark would have to beat Ciara to the finish line — forcing Mark to quite literally swim for his (future) life!
As the world around us changed so much, we found a place of peace and happiness with each other. When normality resumed, Mark returned to London life and Ciara shortly followed. Although London is where we are happily building our life together, Galway will always be home.
Blackrock always had such a special place in our hearts, as it was what brought us together, and so, it was the place where Mark decided to propose!
We can't wait to bring everyone we love together to celebrate our marriage in Adare. Thanks for being part of our story!
